Silver Calcium Alginate Wound Dressing with Antimicrobial Silver

Silver calcium alginate dressing is a high-performance wound care solution containing antimicrobial silver. It is composed of natural fibers derived from seaweed, specifically designed to be highly absorbent. Upon contact with wound exudate, the dressing forms a gel-like surface that maintains a moist healing environment while preventing adherence to the wound bed.

• Viscosity coefficient > 800cp
• Water absorption > 10
• Bacteriostasis ratio > 80%
• Effective against S. aureus, E. coli, and P. aeruginosa.

Suitable for moderately to heavily exuding wounds including:

1. Clean the wound with sterile saline and dry the surrounding skin.
2. Choose the appropriate size to cover the wound area.
3. Secure with a secondary dressing.
4. Change frequency depends on exudate levels (initially every 24 hours).

Cautions: Not suitable for dry wounds or patients with silver allergies. Not for third-degree burns. Dressing should be 2cm larger than the wound area.
