Silicone Self-Adhesive Foam Dressing with Border, OEM Size, Waterproof Wound Care Dressing

Silicone Foam Dressing is an absorbent, atraumatic dressing made from an absorbent core and silicone gel. The wound contact surface is coated with a layer of soft silicone gel that does not stick to the wound or cause trauma to delicate new tissue upon removal. This soft silicone layer is slightly tacky, facilitating application and retention to intact skin without epidermal stripping.

The outer surface is bonded to a vapor-permeable polyurethane membrane, acting as a barrier to liquids and microorganisms. The core can lock exudate into the product, preventing wound bed drying and surrounding skin maceration.

Method of Use:

• Ensure the wound area is clean and dry before application.
• Select a dressing that overlaps the wound margin by at least two centimeters.
• Remove the release film and adhere the dressing to the wound area.
• Non-bordered types may be cut to size/shape before removing the protective film.
