Silicone foam dressing is an advanced absorbent, atraumatic dressing engineered from an absorbent core and high-grade silicone gel. The wound contact surface is coated with a layer of soft silicone gel designed not to stick to the wound bed, preventing trauma to delicate new tissue during dressing changes.

This soft silicone layer provides a slight tackiness, facilitating easy application and retention to intact skin while ensuring zero epidermal stripping or pain upon removal. The outer surface is bonded to a vapor-permeable polyurethane membrane, acting as a robust barrier against liquids and microorganisms.

The dressing is available in two primary configurations: with border and without border. The bordered version features a triple-component absorbent core consisting of polyurethane foam, nonwoven fabric, and superabsorbent fibers. This sophisticated core effectively locks in exudate, preventing the wound bed from drying out and protecting the surrounding skin from maceration.
