Product Description

Hydrocolloid dressing is a special kind of wound dressing used in the treatment of mildly exuding wounds, like minor burns or bed sores. These dressings are waterproof, and unlike simpler dressings, they provide a moist and insulating environment to promote wound healing.

The inner layer contains gel-forming agents like carboxymethylcellulose, gelatin, and pectin, which absorb exudate while maintaining a moist environment for faster recovery and reduced scarring. The outer layer is a waterproof polyurethane film that acts as a barrier against bacteria and debris.

Cleanse the wound and dry the periwound skin.

Choose a dressing with 2cm of overlap on all sides.

Remove the back paper to expose the adhesive surface.
4
Center the dressing, press from the center outward, and hold for 30 seconds.
